The past is not a distant place, awaiting the visitor with an unchanged tranquility. It is rather something happening now, a landscape under construction. Who can participate in its framing? Who gets into the picture? The ruiniert in transit bus tour mobilizes the usually static (art) audience with an invitation to consider these questions and more as the bus advances through localities that are not necessarily one\u2019s own.
\nDuring the Vogelsang Intervention 2009 of the Center for Public Practice (CfPP) two artist lead tours ruiniert in transit offer an expanded (re)access to the former \u201eOrdensburg\u201c Vogelsang Saturday 17.10.09 and Sunday 18.10.09. The bus tour takes visitors to the remains of former lodgings for asylum seekers located in the surroundings of the Vogelsang, situated in the lovely Eifel region. The tour on Saturday 17.10.09 starts off from the Vogelsang Adlerhof stopping at Kall-Golbach to return back to Adlerhof. The tour on Sunday 18.10.09 visits Mechernich-Satzvey and finishes at Vogelsang Adlerhof.<\/p>\n

Die Vergangenheit ist kein entfernter Ort, der stillstehend auf den Besuchern wartet. Eher ist die etwas, was jetzt passiert, eine Landschaft im Bau. Wer kann in ihren Einrahmung teilnehmen? Wer kommt ins Bild? Die Bustouren ruiniert in transit mobilisieren das \u00fcberwiegend statische (Kunst)Publikum mit einer Einladung zu einer Ber\u00fccksichtigung von dieser Fragen und mehr auf dem Weg durch Ortschaften, die nicht unbedingt zu einem geh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

Im Rahmen der Vogelsang Intervention 2009 des Center for Public Practice (CfPP) gestalten die zwei von K\u00fcnstlerin f\u00fchrte Tours ruiniert in transit am Samstag 17.10.09 und Sonntag 18.10.09 einen erweiterten Zugang nach dem ehemaligen \u201eOrdensburg\u201c Vogelsang. Die Bustouren f\u00fchren die Besucher zu den Ruinen von ehemaligen Asylbewerberunterk\u00fcnften in der Umgebung des Gel\u00e4ndes Vogelsang in Mitten der sch\u00f6nen Eifel. Die Tour am Samstag 17.10.09 f\u00e4hrt ab Vogelsang Adlerhof via Kall-Golbach zur\u00fcck nach Adlerhof. Die Tour am Sonntag 18.10.09 besucht Mechernich-Satzvey auf dem Weg von K\u00f6ln nach Vogelsang.<\/p>\n
